Rochecon Convention Rochecon will be Saturday October 13th at The Radisson Inn on 175 Jefferson Rd , Rochester New York 14623. The deadline is August 31st. The event is Pre-Reg only. A maximum of 400 people can attend, so get in your Pre-Reg Form as early as you can so you can get in!

Our focus for the convention will be to be as unconventional as possible! We want to re-write the Anime convention! Instead of the typical convention format of "panels/dances/guests/events", (in other words "talking/costume dance/voice actor/cosplay contest"), we want to do MORE! We're still going to have the basics for a convention. I mean, whatever people want, we'll try to do! But we want to add to that!

Here are some of the events we'll be having at Rochecon this year...
An Opening Shindig played by some people cosplaying as Cardcaptor Inuyasha and
   Jay and Silent Bob (Yes I said Cardcaptor Inuyasha. it's one character. You'll have to
   attend to find out what he(?) looks like!)

Best Cosplay Competition: For those who want to do their traditional Cosplay
   Competition.

Worst Cosplay Competition: Not the best cosplayer? No problem! This is your
   opportunity to shine! Everybody's a winner in this event! Accuracy of character and
   costume doesn't matter here! Wear an Inuyasha T-Shirt and "cosplay" as Inuyasha.
  Wear a box that says "Gundam" and you're a Gundam. Make a fool of yourself. It's
  ok! The worse the costume, the better!

Rochecon Dance: Two hours of good quality Anime, J-Rock and J-Pop music that's
   very danceable and catchy. Since you'll be sugar high off the Pocky and Ramune
   Soda, it'll make the dance even more interesting!
